You ever have a shot that you look at and you have no freaking idea what it was that you were focused on, but whatever it was it sure doesn't seem to be in the picture. Makes me a little upset with myself when it's something that might have been a nice photo otherwise. *shrug* Such is the life of a photographer I guess. -=>Donald

lol. Not laughing at you, but darn it...I know what you mean. I have many ruined photos that would have been awesome and turned out the same. I've thought that same thing many many times. Great smile she has, sorry it happened.

...some folks' ruined photos are other folks' masterpieces. I agree, perhaps not your best, but one slightly off out of (what?) 480-something shots?

Michelle A. ( ) posted Fri, 16 January 2004 at 9:52 AM

Oh yeah... it happens... :~/ Or you could do something even stupider like open up the back of the camera while the films still in it, and ruin what are good shots... It all sucks.

I am, therefore I create.......

I think we have all done it at least once Donald, so no worries if you didn't make a mistake once in a while you wouldn't be human now would you? Brenda :)

Yeah, she has a great smile. And I agree with Misha--some folks' ruined photos are other folks' masterpieces. Jinx

I agree with Misha and Jinx. Taking this shot and saying it's ruined is far from what i'm able to do ... but of course, i do know what you're feeling .. it happens on every level of knowledge :) Tom :-)

Oh, I know it's inevitable, but it still bugs the hell out of me every single time it happens. And it probably will no matter what. What gets me most about that shot is I don't know why it was out of focus. Don't know if the autofocus glitched ... if it was something to do with the sparkly sequins, etc. So, since I don't know what it was that caused it I can't look out for it and adjust so it doesn't happen again. Blah. The one above was taken about a half second after the one at the top. Misha - Baha ... I wish my ratio was that high, but it is getting there and I am definitely hitting more good than bad. -=>Donald

Loved the way this lady moved. Cyn - Come here ... poor dear *hug hug* ... I'm sorry. There there ... here, here's a box of juji fruit. Lets sit in the back and we can throw them at Misha and see how long it takes for him to yell "Stop it or I'm turning this forum around and taking you back home!" Doesn't that sound like fun? :)

i can understand the frustration (january theme?). done this a few times with the digi and put it down to movement confusing the autofocus. action shots are a nightmare on my digi. @cynlee...heeeyyyaaaaa! :))

Pictures appear to me, I shoot them.   Elliot Erwitt

Misha - Spelled it wrong, should be Jujyfruits. A favorite candy for the movies. Well loved by kids as you could lick them, throw them and they'd stick to stuff (like the ceiling, the screen, your cousin, etc.). See photo above. Cyn - Woo hoo ... go girl...shake it.... Now don't have me break this thing down for nuthin'! I wanna see ya'll on ya'lls baddest behavior! Lend me some sugar! I am your neighbor! :D
