Hello Sir, I was wondering, Have you made, or would you be willing to make a tutorial on how to make poser clothing for the default poser figures? (Oh pretty please :) :) :))

Um, did you want "skin tight" or "baggy?" ;=]

If you can do that from within Poser, you will have a huge line up of people signed up. :)

  1. Skintight is possible with a displacement map. 2. loose is possible by exporting the needed body parts, re-importing them as one group, use of magnets to deform them, and transmap to hide the unwanted parts. just an idea. Tony

Yes, but for every person here who knows how to do that, there are a dozen of us who don't have the knack. And the real challenge is...can you make shoes?

I'd actually like to be able to put the Hi-res poser male head on the low-res businessman model so I can have a complete low -res version for long shots but a good hi-res face for close ups. Using P4 (and Pro-Pack)

Before they made me they broke the mold!

heck, I'm at the point of importing the tiny folks into Wings..have an idea for a pic, 'Galetea and B.O.B'..;) If you use mesh parts from the original, you can't claim them as your own, can you? I'm thinking of a quick extract of certain faces, then altering and texturing..hmm..better continue this in the Wings forum..;)
Hey, by all means, I'm getting tired of hiding the laces on Casual guy's shoes..;)

If you use mesh parts from the original, you can't claim them as your own, can you? Not if you intend to sell or distribute them, no. However, if all you want to do is use the clothing in your own creations, it's OK. 8-)

OY! :) I didn't realize I was opening a whole new thread :) :) :) Actually I would like to learn the basics first as I would eventually like to make period clothing (mostly for the male and children figures, there is more than enough for the ladies IMO). Anyway, I'm still learning the basics for Poser. I agree with Dialyn...I don't have the knack for the fancy tools and such (yet) ;) Thanks again, Herne

just did some experimenting in Wings, and the Poser Dork shows up like Jimmy Hoffa, post-mafia..;) extruding don't work, extracting down work, heck, even scaling doesn't work..;) Lo-res Mike works a little better..;)
