More often than not, I don't properly give credit where creit is due, but this time, your suggestions have helped me with a project that means a lot to me. Hey Thanks Sam. Ryan's BDay is still week away, but he caught me working on the pic this afternoon. He thought it was real cool. Now I gotta find a way to get it on his wall with the Batman posters. For the last 2 years he's wanted a Batman birthday cake. Thanks to all of you folk's help, he wants a Capt Jack Black cake. LOL

It'll make an awesome poster for sure. Congrats on getting the picture to take shape, and for soing such a great job on it. It's always nice to see non-cheesecake Poser art--of course I'm saying this as someone who's been doing quite a bit of cheesecake recently. LOL.

That is one awesome picture! Not sure about the puddle, it could be either my Morphing Puddle or the Suds (LOL typical I can't recognize my own stuff)- or someone else's, but anyway you should try y-translating/y scaling it a tiny bit. Right now it looks like glue or syrup becourse it looks so thick :o) But wow! It must have taken a LONG time to make!

Thanks. The puddle did give me some problems with the matl I put on it(it was part of the barrels prop) and def still don't think its the best I could have made it, but I've had pnuemonia over the last couple of weeks (sorta how I've been able to do stuff during the day) and its getting so close to Ryan's BDay that I really don't have the energy to wrestle with it any more. But yeah I agree I need to do something with it.

The puddle seems a bit thick. But other than that it looks great. Maybe move the puddle through the floor a bit so only the top surface shows above the floor? I think I saw that guy in the local bar here recently. LOL! Looks great. Lighting is much better than what you posted last week.

Just catching up with things. Hope that the pneumonia is under control (be glad that you aren't a real pirate shouting into the icy winds) and that your son appreciates all the stories. A Captain Jack cake would be a rum deal. I'd make it just like a fruit cake and hide small treasures in it. (There are traditional 12th Night cakes with small lucky objects.) Yellow frosting with a "pieces of eight" coin design. Pirate trivia: What do c 3 o S stand for? They are all pieces of "8" Carolly
