Just added 24 new free items to my brother Matt's site, www.3dlands.com some of these are already available (we've been catching up!) while some are not....all, however are in the Poser free downloads section

Attached Link: Submit your freestuff

Member submitted free stuff is now an option! members may now submit their free stuff for distribution in much the same way as Renderosity. So c'mon, dig out those free stuff files and get them available to a constantly and rapidly growing audience. You'll need to be a member, so if you're not already, take a few moments to sign up.....it takes less time than it does to steal a car....you'll be done in less than 60 seconds ;-)

In the interests of community and doing a little bit to try and help members of differant 3d communities intermingle among a broader range of sites, 3dlands also now has a webring facility. Again, easy to sign up to, and a great way of helping to spread 3d around to an ever greater audience.

If someone submits freestuff, to you actually host the file, or just a link to the file?

It prompts for a download URL, so I'd say it's just a link. Great site though. I only wish rt-clk wasn't disabled - I use the "Open in new window" option often when browsing websites as that's easier to navigate for me. Andi3D freebies are (as always) fantastic. Thanks Andrew!

You have really great models and I want to thank you again for all the freebies you have given out. Sharen :-)

"I only wish rt-clk wasn't disabled - I use the "Open in new window" option often when browsing websites as that's easier to navigate for me." Just hold down the shift key when you click on a link, and it will open a new window. =)

yes the rt-click is a problem for me too - i am used to save the thumbnail pics along with the zip file for reference ...

LovePyrs ( ) posted Wed, 21 January 2004 at 9:42 AM

There is a work around to the "no right click" if you want to save the pic with the zip file. Not sure if I am allowed to post how to do it on the forums though... =/ Don't wanna get into trouble. -=LovePyrs=-

If you want something to open in a new window, simple press the 'shift'key on your keyboard while clicking on a link. It doesn,t matter if you have Javascript turned on or off. And if you want the thumbs, just take a look in your temporary Internet folder. At the moment you see the thumb in your browser, you have it allready on your harddisk. Or switch the active scripting in your browser off, and the right click is working again. and, .. Thanks for the freebees :o) Robert

"you have it allready on your harddisk" Not in my case. From the temp internet files, I have to open the thumbnail picture in a new browser window and then save it. shrug -=LovePyrs=- P.S. Thanks for the active scripting tip! =)

Hi guys, thanks for the support, always appreciated. i was going to suggest a work round for the thumbs, but the questions already been disected...[shrug]...and you can grab all the thumbs for my items straight from the free section in my site, www.andi3d.com which is an ok little corner of the web, but doesnt have the features and stuff of 3dlands :-) should be a nice little flow of new freebies over the coming weeks, as i'm currently at leisure to spend a good amount of time 3d-ing best wishes to all Andi
