And don't forget the Fifth Element! (How could you ever forget Leeloo?) In some traditions, the 5th element is "spirit", rounding out the 5-pointed pentagram star, symbol of hope and renewal. Candy Girls (Penny, Cynamon; soon to come Halloween and Holiday) are Spirit Elementals, and I think dear Uthena has created one of those, too! :o)
I only did 3 of them for this one image because I didn't want to crowd it. As for the roots and flames and ice for hair thing..keep in mind I'm doing this for an RPG and the descriptions were supplied to me. I did this based on what was said, not my own personal preferences. I just wanted to know if the IMAGE was well made. Never mind your personal tastes on the women!
Well... regarding the women I have to second the comments about the hair (especially the stark blue on the water elemental) - this looks like a GREAT WIP, but (IMO) it does still need work. I love the wings you've used, BTW. Mainly, it looks like the fairies have been superimposed over a flat backdrop and are floating in space. Is this a composite image, or did you load the waterfall/forest in as a background? Thorne - I've never heard of Leeloo - was that from the movie The Fifth Element? I never saw the whole thing... And I'd forgotten that the Japanese one that is sometimes translated as "Void" or "Emptiness" can also mean "Spirit;" thanks for reminding me... :-)
