Awhile back I was contacted by someone to ask if they could purchase one of my Bryce gallery images for the abs-gallery website.(Deep in Thought). I said they could have it for free as long as they credited it with my name and a link to my site. That was agreed upon, and with many thank you's from them.I guess you just have to beware of anyone who would offer to pay you for your work.Or what they may do to it. Has this happened to anyone else.

Well, I don't see any credits for the pic, and they did modify it to a G rating. I was not able to find a link to your site either. Even if you're not upset, I'm a bit pissed-off for you. I don't see any evidence that they've fulfilled any of your terms for free use of your pic. Maybe we Forumites ought to lean on these guys and tell them what we think of rip-off galleries!

was going to look around their site but me and everyone at GeekAndProud.co.uk (er... me and my cat...) will boycott the site until you say otherwise.

Thanks for posting your site burgi, another one for my links.Got the font too...Maybe she will read these forums and either decide to add the link,or remove the image. It did make me proud that someone would actually like one of my images.

I would ask them to remove your work! They broke your agreement!

No credit, and they butcher your image. Not a good thing, and they should know better. I'd tell them to at least give credit, or remove all artwork. Otherwise, lawsuit. The threat should be enough to get action.

I bet theres a lot of this occuring. The guys who contacted me offered the same thing, but after talking to Zhann, I said they couldn't use my work unless I had a contract to sign. The outcome? I haven't heard from them since! I will be keeping a close eye on their site to make sure they haven't just helped themselves anyway. I think you should ask them to remove the work, I mean what benefit do you get from this? None! So everyone beware, however flattering it might seem, these guys have no intention of ever giving you credit or paying you any money!
