Just in case you missed it, i stuck over 10 new freebies up last week, which can be found along the attached link. Working on another load of free stuff now, and hope to get them available next week sometime....however, i'm back in 56k purgatory, so I cant guarantee anything, lol :-) In the meantime, enjoy the last lot, and don't forget to have a quick look at the [Andi3d FreeStuff License](http://www.andi3d.com/free/Andi3d-FreeStuff-License.txt) for usage restrictions [huge beaming grin]

I have an admission to make....I have absolutely no idea if anyone actually wants the free stuff i put up, I just make what seems like a good idea at the time [grin]....certainly, they get a reasonable number of downloads, but are they really of any use to anyone? So.... How's about you throw some suggestions at me, for things that you think would make useful free stuff, and whatever tickles my fancy, I'll take a stab at. so c'mon, lets hear what you'd like me to do have a go at.... :-)

Oh I love your stuff! thanks so much for making it. Well since you asked, could you make a parachute in a pack and inflated? Roads are always useful too. An air traffic control tower would be good. A grappling hook on a rope, coiled and out?? Anything really hehe. Love esther

How are you at modelling guitars? Realistic ones, I mean. Mask-da has produced some amazing guitar models. He has a Les Paul and a Strat, plus a few others. I'm looking for a good, accurate model of a Takamine EN-10, and a particular Gibson hollowbody electric who's name escapes me at the moment. Yes, I'd pay for 'em, too. But only if they were accurate and detailed. I've bought and downloaded a lot of guitars but to be honest, most of 'em are pants.

I think you make good stuff. What would be interesting to see is what you might do with various kinds of ruins. I mean really old-looking stuff. Collapsed buildings, broken-down walls, piles of rubble, disorder and chaos.

Yes, broken things are always useful eg broken windows in walls. Love esther

Andi3d, I have downloaded all your stuff and used quite a bit of it in animations. One thing I always need is some sort of modular thing, like say a window in a wall, that can be replaced by a broken window. Most models are solid objects, so you can't remove the window. It you make a building, make it modular to some extent, so that the window is removable and replaceable with a broken one, or the roof has a whole version and a version with a hole in it. One thing I have been looking for particularly is a building before and after a fire. The before one is whole, but the after one has charred roof beams, burnt doors, broken windows, etc. This has never been done for Poser or any other 3D modelling program that I can find, so you may have a small market for "destructable" architecture. I find having to use ruins, and then looking for a building that may have been what looked like the ruin for the "before" shots. Not a very satisfactory way of working. I am currently working on a sci-fi animation in which some "space marines" attack a city, and I need to show the city before and after, and it would be nice to have some before shots that actually have some resemblance to the aftermath.

Andi, I remember your generosity by allowing me a sneak peek at the fabulous Atlantis set. Your work is top quality and worth everyone downloading until your server screams for mercy. Thank you for your ongoing generosity and kindness.

I agree with those who suggested 'broken' stuff, they're very useful for fantasy artists and a bit more difficult to find than you might expect. Broken columns, tables, pots and vases; anything you might find in a real ancient temple would be great. Thanks for all the freebies, especially the bone-themed ones. :) Take care. SnowS

Andi, I use much of the freestuff. You are very generous. I have purchased several of your items and find them to be very high quality and useful.

I love your stuff, it's quality work! Your generosity is much appreciated, believe me.

Love your stuff! I've got some gallery images up with some "boney" props you might recognise... ;) I also have to agree with those that suggested more ruins and such. Roads are good, too. How about some all-purpose terrain props? Y'know, a rutted old road....rocky outcroppings....something for your other amazing freebies to stand on!

Yep...I agree, your work is really cool. As for ruins and rubble...Baument.com has some cool ruins, rubble, rust and such on a CD. But I don't think they have an intact version and a broken version of the same building. That really would be a market niche. If you are to tell a story, the before and after would be very important. Modular buildings too, and roads and such are always welcome too.

I wanna join the ones who want ruins and collapsed stuff. Would be even nicer if you could pick pieces or if it would be a figure you could animate by collapsing the pieces ala Hulk breaking a wall or something like that. Anyway I love your work and it has an unique style.

I love your free stuff. I haven't used any of it yet, but I have great plans. I especially like the bone stuff. I bought one of the necropolis items to go with them. I'd like to see some single bones. I think you've got some piles of bones and individual skulls with some of your MP packages, but I'd like some single bones. Broken and whole. A femur. A jawbone. Perhaps a rib. But especially a femur. For a ghoul to gnaw in a dark graveyard, or hominid to throw in the air a la "2001." Or to throw to the MilDog. ;-)

hauksdottir ( ) posted Sat, 31 January 2004 at 10:30 AM

what about some animal bones? We need complete skeletons (cats, dogs, burros, horses, wildebeastes)... but that would be a major project. In the meantime, a few scattered bones would add to desert scenes or the area around a battlefield or the midden pile outside a neandertal's cave. Thanks for all your wonderful items, and for sharing them with such a delightfully wicked sense of humor. Carolly
