Subject: Newbie with dumb questions

Hello , I just installed Poser 5 last night & started my adventure into this world for the first time. If anyone could be kind enough, I've ran into my first problem. While working in the hair room the manual tells me to click on the "hair style tool palette". Its obvious where the button is in the editing tool bar, but when I click on it nothing activates, as if the palette is not available. Where is It? I'm sorry if I'm wasting anyones time, If there is a more proper place to go to ask such questions, I'm sure I'll have more dumb questions soon. Thanks to anyone.

I haven't done very much with the hair room, but I BELIEVE you have to create a "hair group" first, meaning you have to tell Poser where the hair should be growing from before you style it.

Thank you for the fast reply, I'll go give that a try & see what happens. Thanks again.

I'm not familuar with Poser but, the only dumb question is one that isnt asked. I've found Renderosity one of the best if not THEE best when you need help. The artwork an artist here are amazing and they have given me so much help. I just got Bryce and my next step is Poser so I may be asking YOU for help LOL.

Thank you so much for your reply and your assurance of my capabilities. I've been admiring the amazing rendered works on different sites for about a year. I finally took the plunge. I'm sure I'll catch on with practice. Has any one used the Poser 5 Demystified package? If so would it be a good investment? Thanks again , Regards

You will NOT be sorry.

You can get 100 hours of knowledge in just 1-2 hours and you'll be able to "hit the ground" running.
