Subject: making clothing ( little help wanted )

How do you make self-made clothing work: Little example, I want to make a pair of trowsers so I devide them in to pieces. One for every legpart that can bend, which I also set as parent for that trowser part. But that doesn't work, because I can't save the trowsers as a whole piece of clothing now. Can someone help me ou here ? Thank you

That's a toughie. Its really hard to understand where you are having trouble. Bloodsong has a great book on this type of stuff you might want to get. I don't know name though. I know it is at Amazon.
