In this case a day late. I started on this a couple of days ago before I noticed the gun modeling challenge. I'm working on the textures plus I have more to add to the scene. I guess I'll start something new for the challenge now. This was modeled in Rhino using mostly extrudes and boolens and rendered in C4D.

As usual Tuggy, your modeling skills are superb!

Whoa! Very cool model and render... beautifully presented... can almost smell the oils and the wood . :o) If you're thinking of entering this as part of our little "Valentines" Challenge, we're going to have to twist your arm and get you to post some wiremeshes. :o) Time for the modeling masters to cough up their secrets. Cheers! M

Thanks Joe and Moebius. Here's a Rhino wire but I can't use this for the challenge. I started this a couple of days before the challenge post was made. Thanks!

Beautiful work! Is that wood texture photgraphic, procedural, painted? I really need to learn something about Nurbs, I don't understand those wires at all LOL! - Baz
