ok im taking the plunge and actually trying to model something new..lol...im in the vertex modeler and using the selection tool..im trying to select just polygons on the back of the object, but its also selecting ones on the front... how do i make it not do that?..lol..thanks

Try selecting the polygons behind the ones you want to work on and then hide them. The polygons that are hidden will not be selected. Keith

gotcha..ill give it a try..thanks..:)...im so proud i figured out how to do the boolean operations all on my own..lol..its a good day..:)
