I just got the MetaForm program and I don't know how to make it work. I installed it and nothing is showing up in poser. The link to the PDF file is blank and there is no way to find out how to use it. Can someone help a lost (not really a newbee) poser user. skee the lost

The PDF isn't really blank. Go into where you downloaded the files do and look for the WeirdJuice folder and the pdf can be opened from there. Unfortunately it is a tutorial for MetaDrops, which is the free version of MetaForm, but it will get you started.

In order to use MeatForm you have to launch it with a Python script (MetaForm.py) which is installed in your Poser:Runtime:Python:WeirdJuice folder. If you want a button for it on your python launcher, you have to create one that points to this file. Then you can launch it from the Python console in Poser.

More about that pdf file from Weird Juice: There is an apparent glitch in the DAZ installer's readme file which specifies the wrong path to the PDF MetaForm User's Guide. The User's Guide should be found in the WeirdJuice subfolder directly under the main Poser directory where you installed the product. You'll know you found the right user's guide if it is more than 50 pages long. Cheryl from Weird Juice continues: ...next week we will be publishing additional tutorial and FAQ material with a greater emphasis on step-by-step processes to achieve specific effects.

And they do need to publish one because the pdf that came with it pretty much just tells what each item does, more like an ad than a manual. Sorry but I'm pretty disappointed with it so far. I will give it some more attention, I have 30 days to refund I believe. Marque

There will be full step-by-step tutorials soon on the Wierd Juce website explaining all the basic functions and how to create special effects. Bill sends his sincere apologies for not being here for the release to answer these questions himself, but I just got word that his wife gave birth Wednesday to a healthy baby boy, Iain Alan (6lbs 8oz) who arrived 10 days early so the unexpected arrival caught them a little off-guard. Mom and baby are doing great... Dad is a mess ;-) They are greaat folks who love to share what they know, so give them a few days to calm down and I'm sure you will be hearing from them :-) Signed, Bill Weottababyitsaboy!
