Corel just sold their XML division. I'd be surprised if any part of Corel remains, in a year's time.

It's sad, Corel has some really great programs...Bryce 4...um...Bryce 5...um... I don't know, i guess i'm not too broken up about it, just glad i don't have stock in Corel, hehe. I do hope someone continues development of Bryce, for both Mac and Windows.

At one time I preferred photopaint to photoshop (How do I do an embarressed smiley?????)

I got Draw/Photopaint 8 on a student discount (and they taught us Draw 4..go figure..;), since I can't afford Photoshop ($700), I'll just have to make do..;)

I still prefer PhotoPaint to PhotoShop. The main bug for me was I found i was always having to move those damn palettes to get at what I am working on. i also found that photopaint had a better printing setup in terms of dynamic or on the fly resizing of image. Still sad to see Corel going down.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!
