As above. Will it work stably with a 64bit processer? Athlon users here, I need your advice coz I'm considering a major upgrade. What about Photoshop? Currently using Pentium 4 1.9Ghz.

Can you say "Greased Lightning"? Hardware is hardware. (pretty hot piece of hardware you're lookin at there!) The only concern with any software is if you're switching from PC to Mac or Mac to PC.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, my new rig will be the above plus 2 gigs Ram and the Radeon 9800XT.

I don't see why not..anyone who designs a chip that isn't backward-compatible is heading for the unemployment line..or works for Apple..;) should run even faster. It may not take advantage of 64-bit processing, but your main problems would be with the OS..hmm..great idea for Bryce 7..;)

Athlon 64 is made to run 32bit software as well as 64bit. So far there are only a beta version of windows to run 64bit... I think there's a linux version that does use 64 bit, but Bryce for linux, maybee it will come someday.

It will work fine on the Athlon 64, if the Opteron is any measure of such things. Pentiums lack FLOP power, so you will really enjoy this upgrade, hope to see what you can do with it soon!
