Subject: I think I messed up...

I got my new computer and installed Poser 4, PP, and Poser 5 on it plus Vue 4 and Vue Pro upgrade. I imported a pz3 into Vue Pro (I have the latest beta patch) and it asked where Poser was. I sent it to Metacreations Poser 4 cause that's where my Runtime files are. Now it won't import with textures. Is there a way that I can retell it to go to Poser 5? If I do tell it to go to Poser 5 and then I want to use PP would I be able to? Thanks for your help, Dawn

Easy enough. What you do is rename the =folder= that the poser.exe is in, then fire Vue up and import a PZ3. Vue looks for the folder, and not finding it, will ask you to locate the Poser.exe. Point it at the one you want, then rename the other one back to what it was.

As I have Poser 4 and Poser 5 installed, but each one on a different drive (Poser 4 is on d:, Poser 5 is on E:, I have renamed both Poser folders to "Poser". I can import things without problems and without needing to rename anything from both Poser versions. Guitta

Ooooh! I'll have to try that, Guitta! That -may- just be a way around the texture pathing troubles!

Thank you, that worked!
