JTrout, Art and skill are not limited by language. You do good work and you are getting better at it... I remember those early flowers with gratefulness, but these little animals show many advances. We are glad to see the improvement. Thanks for being part of the community! Carolly

While driving a car in the mountains near Denver, I came around a sharp curve and saw a small parking lot with a dozen people sitting on a low stone wall. All the people were holding one arm up in the air.

Curious, I turned the car around and parked in the lot. I got out of the car and looked at the people who were oblivious to me. I approached one and asked what they were doing.

"Just watch", replied the person I had asked.

Soon a wild bird flew up and landed in their hand.

Shocked I asked, "How are they doing that?!?"

"Peanuts", was the simple reply.

Someone graciously gave me a handful of peanuts. And as I plopped down on the stone wall to share in the thrill of having wild birds land in my hands, I noticed a small chipmonk diligently climbing the wall next to my leg. Sitting still and leaving my open hand in my lap, the chipmonk climbed right into my hand and stuffed every peanut into its mouth.

After all the peanuts were gone the chipmonk sniffed around my fingers for more, and being satisfied that there were none, scurried off to find a place to bury them for the winter.

Your mouse and chipmonk models brought back that wonderful memory.

Thank you. :)
