I cannot understand why Corel dropped the Kai filter line. Nobody seemed to treat the Goo filter as much more than a toy, but it was an incredibly powerful tool. It was great to satirically distort a person's face, but was also great for slimming down a person's figure and for a number of other fixes that would take ten times as long to achieve. As a quick example of a nice use for the Goo filter, I used it to make the Morphing Fantasy Dress flow a little more realistically instead of having it hang straight at a gravity defying angle. Corel ought to repackage the filters and put them out at a consumer price point.

Also in Photoshop 7, there's a Liquify function that works similar to Kai's Super Goo (except for the animation bit)

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

And Painter has had gooey brushes for several versions now.

The real power of the Goo plug-in is that it has very sophisticated brushes to integrate the distorted area with the rest of the image. Between the iron and smooth brushes, changes can be made to look very natural. I haven't seen another product with that degree of sophistication. As an example, take a look at my linked tutorial It's good to see that Corel has released the filters again, though it's a shame that they're still priced for a commercial instead of a consumer market.

What happened to Procreate? I thought Corel was continuing the KPT line under that name. BTW, I don't think $99 bucks for KPT 5, 6, and 7 is asking too much. They used to be that much for each one I believe.
