Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 27 9:18 am)
If you get to the point where you are going to make this into a poser figure, I can show you how to make both tires turn with a single control. The idea is based off the superhero control on people. As for engine and interiors, if you grab some of the meshes from 3dcafe like the lumina, they have interiors, seats etc as seperate parts that can be scaled and put in. Looks great!
To Mason, Thanks for your will to help, i'm shure i need them for making the whole thing poser-ready. Thanks also about the input with the interior, but i want to make it as original as possible, means i model it myself. To Wizzard, The original-mesh is from 3D-Cafe. It's in the file RaymondsRanch in the Environment-section. But forget it, i have tested it more then 20 times to download this 14Megs-file. It clashes all the times. A really helpfull community-member had sent me then the vette-mesh. Thanks a lot to him. Without him this work would not be possible. To Krel, At 3D-Cafe is also a 69-Camaro, that needs a lot of work while the mesh isn't the best. But now, there's also a 70-Barracuda and this mesh is really good. Maybee some of you can do that as a poser-ready mesh. SHARKEY
To Mason, Yes, the Barracuda is at 3D-Cafe, it seems the base is good. There's also a 427-Cobra and a 64-TBird. The Cobra is a file with extension xxx.PRJ , don't know for which programm this is. But the size of the file looks like it must be good base. To Hdrider, WOW, your Vette looks absolutely cool. Sorry, no idea from where it is or come from. I really wish you, to find out who's the creator. It's a 65 to 66, the front-fender defines this. 2 horizontal rips for 63 to 64 3 vertical rips for 65 to 66 5 vertical rips for 67 Have also no idea who has made the one i'm working on. Have sent a mail to 3D-Cafe to tell me the mail of the mesh-creator. No answer since Sunday. As i have to make most of the parts from new, i will post it. This evening i needed two hours only for the frontspoiler. At end more then 90% of the mesh is new. SHARKEY
robertsharkey, Thanks for the good comments. Like I said, I don't know where the model came from. This may help. All the parts were in German. Made it a LOT more interesting figuring everything out. The Cobra file with a xxx.PRJ extension is a .3DS project file. Most 3D programs will read it (I think). Also, I'm working a Corvette hard top but am having trouble with getting the door windows to roll down. hdrider
No good deed goes unpunished ...
To Foxhollow, I search for some photos of these wheels and send it to you this evening (european-time). To Hdrider, If you don't find the creator, with this Vette you have a fair chance to rebuild it to a Mako Shark MK-II Experimental Corvette. The back would only need a small touchup. With the front you have to do a little bit more, like peaking the nose and bend the fenders. Here's a pic and link: Mako Shark MK-II SHARKEY
