Like the composition and cool sense of depth with the foreground plants all the way to the distance mountains. Can understand why used the material in the middle ground, with the overcast sky and soft lighting, but to me - especially with the dimensionality of the foreground plants and with the trees, the terrain looks a bit flat in comparison (not elevation... but texturally) Know it's not intended to be the center of attention, but that's the area might want to play with - just to see the effects.... Like what's here, just suggestions to consider. hewsan
I like the idea Miden has come up with. Also the 4legged thing seems to be wrong, it's not immediatly apparent what it's standing on. The big fir tree looks out of place as does the tree next to it. It looks out of scale with the rest of the pic. This might be a good scene to try rain in....0.02p

And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
Lol @ GG.... That would make the picture wouldn't it? 8) Drac... I will bump up the grass a bit. It really does look kind of plastic like at the moment. Hewsan... I agree with you about the texture of the terrain is a little flat. Will do something with that for sure. Miden1138... Lol. No problem with you taking liberties with my image. Glad you did as it allowed you to show visually what you were thinking. I have been thinking about adding mountains in the back area as you have depicted in your example... Melansian_Mentat was wondering if that background fog didn't look a little thick. Glad you mentioned it. I feel it is a bit heavy too.... Danamo.... Lol... I think that tree has a dead tree standing behind it. Didn't even notice that. Thanks for pointing it out. Bryster.... I had given thought to rain in this image... Still not sure about it. I will be having more trees in it yet. That might bring the fir tree into better perspective. Bigbadelf and Ajtooley... The trees are a little lonely... I still want to add a bunch of trees to this yet. Hope Bryce can handle all these Bryce Trees. There will be a bunch of them. Lol Thanks a lot for all the great criticisms. I really appreciate them. Will make changes and post another WIP. Wade

Thanks for the tip AJ... I to believe that it is ok to do that way... from what I can tell anyway. I have another render going now already.... I have like 67 Bryce trees in my scene now. Quite a few.... gonna give my processor and RAM a little work out over night. lol
