I'm working on some different colors for the eyes for Vicki but I can't get them to render. The rest of the texture map will but the eyes are the same color. What am I doing wrong? One other thing, are there any good tutorials for makeing a texture map. I'd like to try my own but so far failing miserably.

Make sure all the parts of Vicki are set to white. If any colors are on the figure, the colors of the texture map won't show correctly. Melanie

There are 4 materials which involve the eyes. Eyeballs Pupils Eyewhites Irises The Eyeballs must be set with min/max transparency = 100% I don't think you really need a texture applied to it, but something white or off white should do fine. It is really a reflective layer for light highlights. I like the effect if you set the trans sliders for the pupils to max 25% min 12% - to me it adds depth. Textures: get several - look at them in Poser and in your paint program - see the mistakes and what works - one point - go outside the lines a bit - there is a fudge factor - especially in the Poser window.
