Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
Daz's IPB is easy to use and is supported directly from Daz, so you know you'll get updates to support any of their chracters. Injection magic has the advantage of being able to build injection poses for other figures such as V2, etc... Not sure if either is better than the other as I mostly use Daz's since I am on Mac and have to use Virtualpc to use the injection magic.
Injection Magik can also do scale, mat, trans, and turn off IK. I have them both, Prefer Injection Magik. Might not exactly be easier, but it does a lot more and is easy to learn. Plus the ability to set it for more than just the one's that DAZ supports is quite a bonus. You can clean up a lot of space by setting up Pose's instead of keeping hundreds of cr2 character's around.
Have both, prefer Injection Magik by far. It's much more flexible, does all the same stuff only better. And Injection Magik doesn't insist on using only V3 files even when I've told it to do a Michael or Freak character. The catch is getting it right now. It was one of the products which was sold to DAZ, and they haven't put it out. It sounds like maybe they're changing IPB to be more like IM?

Injection magic(3D Universe) or Injection pose builder(Daz3D)... First: Do they do the same things? Second: If so, which would you recommend (either, ease of use, or more features)?
