Subject: V Clothing - anyone interested in a challenge for $$

BillyGoat ( ) posted Wed, 25 February 2004 at 1:16 PM · edited Sun, 02 February 2025 at 3:54 PM

I'm willing to pay for a skirt and pant that comes up to V2/V3 actual waistline. This 'down to the hipbones' look is getting really old. My Victoria(s) are tired of looking like 19 year-olds. They want jeans and skirts they can tuck their shirts in to. Is anyone interested in this? 1 basic pant, 1 flared and 1 fited skirt is all I ask for. BillyGoat

Have you thought of maybe getting a PoserWorld subscription? Lots of that kind of stuff there. Well worth it.

Got Image? Skirts are quite hard to conform properly but with a litle work doable. IM me with some specs and I will see what I can come up with.

For a skirt :) I only have pants for V3 though.

That looks like a great package Xena, is the skirt conforming? (hip buttox thighs) or just hip with morphs?

Well I'll be contentious and say there's no such thing as a conforming skirt ;) But it does move with the figure somewhat, and what movement you don't get, there are dials in the hip section of the skirts to get it. I haven't had any complaints about how I did this set even though I don't use this method anymore (relying on movement morphs now like the long dresses from Daz).

I have a subscription to Poser World. Mostly for Steve's cool props. The only problem I have with PW clothes is that I can't get a snug fit on a slim Vicky. All the clothes are just too big (since 'the change').

BillyGoat ( ) posted Wed, 25 February 2004 at 5:35 PM

I looked at that clothing pack - looks great! I noticed the fits for all the characters 'cept V2/V3. Maybe it's just me, but when I look at my jeans, they don't 'dip' in the front. The waistband looks straight across. That is what i'm looking for - so you can see a definite tucked in shirt and belt. So ladies, go look in the mirror at the waistband of your pants - do they dip in an oval shape, or do they look straight? Maybe I just need to dig out Jim Burton's Skirt&Sweater set from the olden days and work on that. The skirt has a nice snug fit - just needs to be shorter. Thanks for helping me!

Just exactly where is the waistline for V2 and V3 on the templates? Maybe all I need is a guide. I tried this once before and could not get it exact... Anyone willing to draw a line on the V3 template as a guide? Pretty sad when I can't even find her waist!

the hipster jeans from HMann actually have morph dials that can make them fit around the waist. Love esther

These jeans are just one of the 19 separate clothing items in the V3 Everyday Clothing Set. Each contains many morphs to match the V3 figure.

Phil your work is worth every penny. They always work flawlessly and your mapping is excellent. I have never been happier when I have purchased work from you. Cernunnos

Free - for V1/V2. :-)

BillyGoat ( ) posted Thu, 26 February 2004 at 9:45 AM

I have it installed - haven't tried the jeans yet. Thanks for reminding me! Crosses pants off the list.

BillyGoat ( ) posted Thu, 26 February 2004 at 10:12 AM

Thank you very much! How did I miss that skirt? Prolly too much in a hurry to get your hair models, LOL! Well, it's down to the 'flirty flared skirt'. You know, i've tried using magnets to raise the waistline on the skirt from V1/2 clothing pack - but I get too damn frustrated. I really appreciate all the help everyone has given me. Thanks for being some of the best people in the 3D world. BillyGoat (um, ms BillyGoat)
