But maybe you already knew about this? I don't do to well at posing in Bryce, do better in Poser, but am not to great at it there either. The picture above is one I wanted to do for a night sky and my night skies series have all been done in Bryce with Poser figures imported in. After getting frustrated with trying to pose all of this in Bryce I decided to just save all of it together in Poser, as one obj and try importing it into Bryce. It was a single obj of over 40 megs! I thought any minute now the whole thing was going to crash on me. But no problem, imported it right into Bryce. I have never tried importing anything that big! QUESTION: Is there a point where I should worry about crashing? I must say, being a computer novice, I was most impressed with its ability to import such a large single file. Should I be impressed? This is small version of newest night sky, if interested you can see original at link listed.

It's all a matter of processor speed and memory.

It depends on how much RAM you have. It probally won't crash - what will happen is it starts accessing the swap file - which greatly slows things down and probally puts alot of wear on your hard drive. I have 192 megs and I have gone up to 80 megs without problems Bob

OH wow!! Then sounds like I have been under-using the program. Ram is about 260 and I am running dual 550's but then Bryce does not use dual right? Maybe in future. Well I think I will be having a lot more fun then experimenting with the capabilites of the program. Thank you very much for your replies.
