if jack and ed is important than a boycott is appropriate at this time and just stop coming to renderocity alltoghether ,delete files make public request and do the jim jones thing and lleave the site empty and hollow.......like a death camp......go to the other sites and upload and post messages ........so if words mean anything show it in your acrions and let the site owners no by this.....

There's nothing wrong with my integrity. As far as bocotting or just bailing out? Since I'm still quite new here I understand that something very similar happened about a year ago thus the PFO/Renderosity feud. Now i don't know that story nor will I inquire, but from the time I've been here I know that Jack and Ed have gone to great lengths to provide a fair and honest voice for all community members. Even a No-talent ID10T like myself has a voice here amonst great artists. What gets me however is the bussiness end of the thing. The fact that edgenet has done some things that make no valid business sence aside from what seems to a great deal of people ( well, Me at least.) seems just wonton greed. Now I've never minded selling things for money, but to go the way they seem to have, just hits me a very unfair, the vaneer of care for artist work removed and naked greed showing. Thats hard to take, to be concidered just data to be sold, or held hostage. Now for now My work and my freestuff will remain in place and available. I may be quite cranked at Edgenet, but I have a responabily to my peers here. they have taught me a great deal and provided tons of resources for my use and to deny them to gain revenge for Jack and Ed? I doubt they would like that idea, I think they would prefer thing continue until and new place can be found.

Well, maybe we should just stop posting new stuff to this community. I have been working on two spacesuits (one completely new and one highres version of the SAFS-Suit) for some time now and I hoped to be able to post them some time next month. But I will wait and see how things will be going in the next days. If Jack and Ed create a new community, I will be moving to this site. Ah, and by the way: Ironbear is right: I really wish I had even a small part of your talent Lalverson! I really appreciate your work - especially your blue medusa. The best artists will probably follow Jack and Ed. And yes, a lot will have withdrawals from the various forums. Me, I'm not even sure if I'm even going to be able to stay online, alive, or anything, so integrity or not, it really doesn't matter a hell of a lot what I may or may not do. If I thought I had any hope, I'd probably think about it. I do know that Edgenet are acting like a bunch of ignorant fascists who will only end up with a second rate site at best, a lot of really pissed off people and a lot of hatred directed at them. They cut their own throat, let the stupid fuckers bleed
