Wow, I turn my back for a few minutes and all of a sudden Renderosity seems to be falling apart! And Edgenet LOCKED OUT the people who CREATED this place?!? What a sorry bunch of money hungry bastards! I'm all for boycotting this place once Jack and Ed get their own thing going! ......................................... Anyway, I actually came here to ask if anyone knows where I can find a good tutorial(s) on creating transparency maps for hair? Cheers, Mike

Kozaburo/Yamato have a sort of tutorial on their site-Poser Factory. You might have to look around for it--may be on English page or possibly Japanese page.

Thank you, picnic and Dagon... it almost seems as though the hair trans maps are just negative B/W versions of the texture...funny though.. it doesn't work so well when I try it! :) Cheers, Mike
