Will there be a new Renderosity? Where is everyone going to now?

I have the same question in mind. I saw lot of messages saying that the artist are removing their stuff (which I agree completely according to the current context). Does the community will be dissolved and spreaded?

I am sorry to show my ignorance, I have been on holiday and away from the internet. Please what is all this new aggro and scare about? Is Renderosity going to disappear, and with it all the work and scholarship and art that people have put into it? What is this about Edgenet?

There is a very long thread some where below by Keoto. Jack and Ed have been shut out as the administrators. Edgenet has discovered interest by Curious Labs and Zygote in purchasing the forum and are making a play to grab all the goodies themselves....apparently they have decided that the membership database is now their property to sale and the old spectre of ownership of intellectual property rights has been raised. That would be cool if they did. My lawyer just waits for these types of infringement cases! Woohoo... now I'll be able to buy me a new Viper!
