With one leg of a Bogen 2020 in the sink, the other on the counter and the third on the floor (and after stepping in the dog's water bowl) - I was able to snag these at our bird feeder yesterday with a Nikon D100 and a 300mm Nikkor. The addition of a window created a "ghost image" on the higher res files, but screen res looked pretty good. Let me know!

Looks like your kitchen window is much nicer than my kitchen window!

You seem to be a good cook.;) You attract birds of diffrent colors and then shoot them down......... with your cam. Very interesting pics. Well detailed. I enjoyed it.:O)) SNAKEY

Pfffff... it's easy when you don't have a dog who barks all dday long... I like your pics, especially the first one.

Don't recognize the type of bird in the first one, but I see what I think is a Black Capped Chickadee(?) and Tufted Tit-Mouse .... Fantastic shots all of them!.... although there seems to be a tiny bit of blur on the last two.... hope your feet didn't get too wet in the dogs water bowl. :~)

I am, therefore I create.......

I bet you put something in the bird food! Awesome shot! :o) I'm so jealous you caught such beautiful birds! Jinx

Hmmm.... I dunno how I managed to duplicate the third shot - sorry 'bout that. Thanks for the comments! I've been testing with the window open - snapping the shutter to get the brds used to it - should be able to get some clearer shots without the window. Michelle - dead on with the identification of the second two - the first is a Red Bellied Woodpecker.

Let your window open Wolfsnap, and feed these birds every day. Some fresh water in summer will attract them to. After some time, they won't fear you anymore (you see some birds living in supermarkets...) Then you'll make great photos.
