Subject: Help with Conforming Clothes

Uthena ( ) posted Tue, 02 March 2004 at 2:42 PM · edited Mon, 25 November 2024 at 3:40 PM

I have recently built two dress models for the preteen girl figure. While I can build the models, I haven't a clue how to turn them into conformable clothes. Would someone be willing to work with me on this?

Uthena, I am a bit limited on time but I will be glad to help you out. It just may take me longer than if I had lots of free time. Also, if you would like to give this a shot, I will be glad to outline the steps you need to follow. It is basically a two step process. First, you section the mesh into the proper body part groups. Second you make a cr2 with the correct jp settings. Often you can use a cr2 for a similar pre-existing clothing item for this. Sometimes you also have to tweak the jp settings. This can get more involved. But for most things, the first two steps will suffice. Let me know if I can help and what you want. Me to set the dress(s) up or else me to walk you thru the steps. Rob

Rob I'd love it if you could set the dresses up for me. Like I said, I can build the objects and I can make morphs and stuff like that, but I'm daft when it comes to conforming figures. Just let me know what you need me to do to get the dresses to you. I can zip them up and send you a link to them if you need. Una

Uthena, okay sounds good. Zip up the files and send the link to me by email shadownet@cp-tel.net Also, be advised it may take me a few days as I have a number of irons in the fire, so if you are in a super hurry, you may want to get someone else. But if not, I am more than glad to do this for you. :O)
