Hi Before anyone says it I know Windsor and the Tower are not for sale ok. What I'm looking for is a fantasy medieval style castle model which I can use in closeup and distance views in both Poser and Bryce. I have found a possibility in the marketplace by alfons but I was thinking of a more fantasy style. any sugestions? Dave

derjimi has some castles that I know of..also I did a low-poly one at Peejay's pages, it's untextured, but you can put different colors on the roof, windows, etc..good for distance stuff..it's Neusch, nuesh, Neuschwanstein (geshundhiet..;)

derjimi's free stuff. Quite a treasure trove. Among other things, there's the Tower Construction Kit. Hm. I seem to remember a Castle Construction Kit, too. Do also a search for Castle in Free Stuff, there are several of them, like George's Fairytale Castle for Poser.

I wonder why some of his stuff says commercial use and some doesn't. Just wondering. Melanie

If you've got the money, Turbosquid has some of the best. Hi Thanks for the replies I have the tower construction set and yes it is good, I even used it in one of my pictures but for what I want it seems too futuristic. I like the look of the ones on turbosquid but $150 sorry got made redundant today not agood idea oh well I'll carry on searching. Dave

I wish I had not followed the link to turbosquid. I now am lusting after that $150 castle. Ouch! Too expensive, but it really is NICE!

Unfortunately, that's how it gets once you're outside of the Poser communities and into the world of main stream 3D. It's all a LOT more expensive because that's where the people with bigger budgets shop! -SMT
