Subject: Converting M2 textures to M3

Hi All--Sure hope someone can help me with this. I just remapped V3 to accept V2 textures using the UVS maps supplied by DAZ and UVMapper for OSX. Works great! Now, I would like to remap M3 to accept M2 textures but DAZ doesn't make the UVS files available (that I can find) for M3. Can someone tell me how to do this? I'm on a Mac so the UTC is unavailable to me. Thank you in advance, Denny

well the Universal texture converter at Daz does the trick :O)has plug ins extra for all the milenium characters. Each is sold separtely but well worth the money saves a lot of time and even makes mat files for you :O)

Mike3, Vicky3 and Stephanie petite are based on the same mesh so normally you can use V3 maps on M3 (like V2 on the Milkids and M2 on Stephanie1). I haven't got M3, but afaik, it should work.

I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now I'll be mad. (Rumi)

Thanks for the comeback. Unfortuantely, the Universal texture converter is for Windows only and I'm on a Mac. If I could figure out which file to import uvs from, I might be able to get Mike 2 stuff to work on a remapped Mike 3. But I'm stuck. Denny

No one has done a Michael 1-2 remap for Michael 3 yet. That sort of project is usually painstakingly meticulous and time-consuming.
