Our Winner of the February challenge, pesuchet, has chosen the following theme for March: "Discovery Atlantide" This is an underwater scene, where we have to see (or imagine) Atlantide ruins, but with the same magnificence as we could imagine. We can only use terrains, plants and animals : no objects or human authorized. Please read the rules at the link above:-) Thanks, Guitta

hi Gebe, when you said "We can only use terrains, plants and animals " this means that we can't use basic vue objects like sphere, cube, ect ? or we can't import other 3d obejcts ?? thanx.

Stupid questions doesn't exist:-) I toke the text as it was transmitted by pesuchet. So use only terrains, plants and animals. No humans. I had the question if statues are allowed. I said yes, because statues are not humans. But let it be completely broken statues with lots of corrosion and remember that you can do LOTS of great things inside the terrain editor - from scratch. Including statues. I would not say no to use a Posr statue, but remember: if it is from Atlantis, it cannot be a statue that looks like an entire and new thing with a head and arms and legs. Would not be logical. This is a real challenge. Just create all the buildings or whatever you need in the terrain editor. :-)

Sorry - me again :-)....a Vue-stone is like sort of a plant in a way, right....please say yes! ;-) Because if it is sort of a plant we can use stones too....and that would be a big help.

Of course you can use stones. When is sayd "no objects", this means no ships, houses and such things.

Hi Guitta! There's one small thing I'd like to know. When using the terrain editor, can we import gray scale images to help create the terrains or must everything be drawn directly in the terrain editor using the brushes there? Kissies to ya! Linda

It is not important HOW you create the terrain. The important is you use terrains instead of objects or primitives (primitives are objects too). Terrains, plants, animals and rocs can be used as you like. Guitta
