Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 23 9:03 pm)
What character is it? Where did you buy it? Was the file a .zip or .exe?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
The Geometries folder is the MOST important....When you get the error can't find geometries blah blah blah....Right it down EXACTLY as you see it!!! Small letters/dashes/numbers etc. Then go Win Explorer do a search Under Poser 4 directory to see where the install has placed it. Once you have found it....Create a folder in Geometries and name it EXACTLY how it was stated in the error message. Now move the Geometry/Object file to it's proper place and all should work fine. Sometimes the auto unzip does place the files in there correct location. It's a pain in the arse as I find A LOT of files that need re-placement. Hope this helps.

I recently installed a new character into Poser and no matter what I click on, nothing will open. When I click on the INJ pose file, I get the message cannot open Runtimelibrariespose"whatever".pz2 . The same thing happens with the geometries and the textures. I've reinstalled the character three times now and still nothing will open. Could someone tell me what might be happening and how I can correct it? I use Poser 4. Thanks in advance :-)
