Two little comments to clear it a bit up. When the last civil war broke out a year ago, Jack & Ed were not in charge - it was EdgeNet and JeffH who responded at the time. Just like they do now. There were discussions to "ban" EdgeNet members from PFO within the first three days, the idea was rejected immediately by the majority of PFO members, and there was no more mention of it afterwards. It was a mistake to introduce the idea in the first place, but it was the shouting of battle of the first hours, so mistakes under such circumstances should be forgiven. Both Willow and Grey (who run PFO) strictly stated that every normal member of Renderosity is welcome over there, they just don't want to deal with people who are in charge of/by EdgeNet - so your status as a "lurking" or even contributing member was never affected. If you don't believe me, read their FAQ - it is strictly written there. Whoever told you you're not welcome just because you are a member here wasn't authorised to do so by any means. I am just a normal member like you and not directly related to either board otherwise, but in this chaotic situation where it is hard to judge what is fact and what is not, I'd like to clear this bit up.
I am afraid that in my case you are mistaken. willow and i had some disagreements in private over the feasability osf my leaving my pictures up on renderosity and still joining the new PFO. She was having a hard time dealing with the situation which was understandable at the time and I didn't appreciate the answer she gave me or the manner in which it was stated. I let her know that others can also be pretty good at nasty emails and that was where it was left for a time. Later when tempers had cooled and the dust had settled I decided to re-join the PFO. At that time I received an email from Willow letting me know that I was not welcome at the PFO and so I decided to forget about it. So not everyone is included in the statements you are pointing out Martin and let me assure you that afterwards I found a few others who are also not welcome at the PFO for one reason or other that has nothing to do with the split last year but for reasons other than that which are between Willow and those of us involved. I like the majority of the people in this and any other forum on 3D art and programs. those I don't like I ignore. I have read your posts over time Martin and I have to say you are one of the good guys and care for the community of people that have grown around what was considered a couple of minor beginners 3D programs. That is why I say have a good one and be well. It will all work itself out in the end and hopefully not too much damage will be done to the community as a whole.

My opinion may not sit well with some here but I believe I have a right to it. The last time we had problems of this type I stayed with Jack and Ed and was definitely informed by someone that I would never be welcome at a certain other Poser site as a member. Thats okay as I could still lurk and see the new works etc. of some very talented artists and model makers etc. Hopefully this time will not be so bad. To me any site that offers me help and gives me encouragement in my attempts at mastering any type of 3D applications will remain in my favorites list. I do not plan to stop going to Renderosity as long as I can gain some type of benefit from that site and they don't try to screw me around. I hope that this does not preclude me from being able to also go to and belong to any new site that Jack and Ed set up or that anyone else here may set up. I have no desire to take sides here as I did the last time. I believe that to any community such as Renderosity or the one Jack and Ed set up we are an asset and as such should be able to receive a certain amount of respect for our opinions and views. I like and respect Jack and Ed and certainly hope they are successful in setting up a new site. Hopefully I will be able to put that site in my favorites list as well as on my pages for people to visit as I have Renderosity. I guess only time will tell if that is possible. This post will be also put on Renderotica.
