General question, I have been using P4 for a few years now and wondered if the propack is worth the upgrade price for CL?? I admit my knowlege of PP is limted and would like to know If Im not importing to lightwave oir something of that nature is it worth it?

i should also ask if anyone has used the E-download on CL or is the documentation that essential for someone who has been using poser for a while.

In addition to the hosting plugins for Lightwave and other applications, Pro Pack offers the following:

Multi-pane document windows
Animated materials
2D motion blur
Python scripting for all those wonderful add-ons and other enhancements
No more corrupted geometry RSRs -- Pro Pack doesn't use them
No more need for BUM maps -- Pro Pack can use JPEGs directly
PNG thumbnails -- can be created and modified in most paint programs
Additional file format support
A setup room for rigging your own figures
Minor enhancements to the grouping tool -- AutoGroup and Weld

I used the eDownload for my copy (and P5), but you need Broadband of some form as the download is approx. 300Mb (Installer & Content CDs).

The ProPackSR3 user guide is in the "Poser 4 & Pro Pack" section of Downloads at Curious Labs website, so you could take a look at this first.

The Poser 4 manual and (original) ProPack user guide as PDFs are part of the install.
