It is 8.05 am and I am still awake, tuned in to the Dr Geep station P.O.S.E.R. Maybe I should sleep and see what Dr Geep did a little later.

I zoomed in on the pic, digitally enhanced, removed the noise. He's working on something to do with poser 5. My team of analysts are still studying the image and when I get more info I'll let you know. (provided you have the right security clearance). Love esther

12:30 here... 1:30 your time. I'll be awake for several hours yet... poised like a cat watching a shadow. BTW, Skrogg occasionally sits on the desk behind me and watches the mouse curser flick across the screen. She long ago made the connection between hand and cat-toy, but hasn't yet linked hand and curser. Carolly

First image posted 1:51. Last image posted 8:55. Good god, man! SEVEN hours for Poser 5 to start?!? Haven't you installed the latest service packs?!? And standing over the computer will not make Poser start any faster... just like watching a pot of water won't make it boil any faster. Or are you running Windows 98?

Bobasaur ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 11:09 AM

Oh wait a minute, I can see it, I can see it! This is going to be called: "Editing the Figure Object and Display Rendering the Animation Window Help" It's right there across the top. Duh - it's such a no-brainer I should have rrealized it a long time ago.

In France we use Azerty, Tyger purr.

Bobasaur ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 12:48 PM

Napalm would debug it. However, naplam is no longer considered a legal weapon. You might try napalmolive. I hear it really leaves things clean.

Geep, be sure you get a nice chair to sit in. Otherwise, you just might find the Spanish Inquisition dropping by to force you into a comfy chair ... just when you least expect it.

biggert ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 2:25 PM

AHA! with some crafty techniques i UNCOVERED IT! so...anyone want it? PM me...

pakled ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 3:06 PM

many nations' keyboards are reconfigured, French, German, Russian, etc., for different languages. (that's why so many packages want to know what language you want it set up in).
QWERTY was actually created in the 19th century to slow down people, because the typewriters of the time couldn't keep up with the speed-typers. A century and a half later, it's still here..and it turns out the Dvorak layout, which is supposed to be faster, turns out to be about the same speed, and the original tests were conducted under 'suspicious' circumstances about the time of the WWII..;)
pakled- the font of useless knowledge..;)

Azerty in france? No wonder french is so hard to understand than.. in Denmark it's qwerty too. BUT we do have on our keyboards as well just to make sure they're unusable to the rest of the world LOL

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 3:12 PM

Hehe I've tried a Dvorak keyboard once.. was TOTALLY confused.. I guess if you've never seen a keyboard before it's a great idea, and prolly faster, but for all of us who are used to the qwerty layout, it's a PITA...

If you're referring to me - I'm still using Poser Pro Pack. It's the only way to get Poser to play with Lightwave.

I always thought that was Barbra Ann! Or Barbarino.....Vinnie Barbarino.

hauksdottir ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 10:16 PM

I thought it was "Barbara Ann", too. At least that is the way I sing it, if I'm not doing a parody. Meanwhile, the good doctor has drawn our attention from the keyboard to his monitor. The letters on the keyboard don't interest me as much as the colors. It looks like the Easter Bunny (or NaySayGuy's uncle) was playing with the keys! ;^) Carolly

geep ( ) posted Fri, 19 March 2004 at 11:51 PM

NaySay has a very limited # of colors in his paintbox. (for a very good reason - Can you guess why?) ;=]
