I do book covers, and I'm getting more and more requests for Western covers. I found DAZ's Male Western clothing, some female clothing at PoserWorld. Renderosity's terrific Stage Coach, And RDNA's amazing Western plants, adobe buildings, etc. I still could use the following. Western Saddle, Reins, Rifle scabbard, round cloth covered canteen, saddle blanket, blanket roll, Saddle bags, Rope, Poncho, Bowie knife, cooking pots, etc. More female clothing. Does anyone else have a use for some of these things?

Some of that list is pretty timeless. Cooking pots, blanket roll, and the canteen could all be useful for other periods, or something similar found. But you do get a change in a lot of stuff when the industrial revolution started. I assume you know about Questor's Western Guns set on DAZ, in their free stuff? Check 3-D Arena too where he has other stuff. There's odd bits and pieces all over the place, all the usual suspects, such as hats.

Questors items are great, yes I DL some free items from DAZ, and I checked out 3-D Arenas weapons. Cowboy hats I have RNDA has a freebie, and Daz has one in their western set. Top hats and bowlers I havent been able to locate. Male civilian clothing is a problem. If anybody else is interested in Western Gear I may be able help with what items I have located.

I'd say DAZ will be coming out with a whole lot of western stuff pretty soon to coincide with the release of their new mil horse (supposedly by the end of the month). -Heidi

Depends on the western. Hombre, the Magnificient Seven, Silverado & most everything with Clint Eastwood or John Wayne I either own on DVD or I'll make time to watch if there's a TV available. :-) btw I have a set of saddlebags for the P4 horse up at 3D commune in Poser freestuff.
