Anyone here having trouble downloading the Free items from DAZ since they started the new Login Format? I can get in but it refuses to actually D/L the item. I am using Get Right as the D/L app. It follows the path but exe. comes in as a data file with "RENAME -001 ME" as thetitle, and it won't D/L. Any ideas? Thanks. I did try to get DAZ to help,so far nothing.

Try it without a download accelerator. DAZ used to have a notice about that on the free pages.

hmm...I just connected another PC to the network at home, and can't get on from there..strange thing is, I can't find the login screen (been a regular there for months)..suppose these things happen..;)

I've never been able to use Getright to get the freebie...just as I can't use it to download my purchases.....

yep Download accelerator won't work. And if you make the mistake of using it for downloads you've bought from the DAZ store it sets your downloads to nil and kicks you out. (well that happend to me. I only made that mistake once!) its a shame really cause it would be handy to have the option to continue large downloads on dialup.

I realize the problems with folks using DL accelerators to 'strip mine' sites...but I consider them necessary evils on the slow dialup connection I have, without the capability to resume broken downloads I am up the creek. Therefore I buy very few items of any size from sites that don't allow DAP. Most of these store sites offer little in the way of freebies to d/l so I fail to see the need to prohibit those d/l accelerators that are spyware free...anybody have the answer to this?
