Hi Philippe, can you tell me how long is the original pz3 of Judy in your superb animation "Judy is walking" ? It looks quite long, because the moving dress never seems to "repeat". Thanks, Guitta

The Poser file (pzz) and the final render have the same timing. I didn't use the walk designer. It was not a loop. It was a character animation based on a bvh import.

You're welcome Guitta.
BTW: that was made with a PC (only Windows XP home Family)... ;-)

I don't know if anyone else has found this, but I find that walk designer loops don't work well with dynamics.

There's a couple of reasons for this: Firstly most of the walks seem to contain sudden, unnatural, accelerations - paticularly of the thighs - that cause poke through which is very difficult to spot in Poser previews. Second the hair and cloth are simply not in the correct position in the last frame to realistically blend back into the first.

John, that's probably why Phoul did not use the walk designer with dynamic cloth and hair in "Judy walking" :-)

Yes.

Thanks, I thought that was probably the case. Just wanted to check that it wasn't me doing something wrong.
