Subject: A question for qualification of March challenge.....

Right now im working on an image, but It wasnt until I was about halfway through it that I realized it could qualify for the march challenge, but I'm not 100% sure, because it has alot of vegetation in it... The image has a crashed, rusted 40's warplane in the heart of a jungle or rainforest - - Would this be considered still life?? there is no animals/people, and the image has shows no motion... I usually think of fruit and wine bottles basking next to a window as still life, but does this qualify? Please tell me if you dont think it should, I wont submit it, but I really want to make sure it is in the guidelines.... thanks Jordan

actually, i would think that based on the pretty loose rules of it, it's no problem :)

Agreed.. Still life is really anything that captures a moment in undisturbed time. I'd say that would work. But perhaps Clay or Agent Smith would best be the people to ask. -dash

well, the plane's not going anywhere..;) don't see why it would be a problem..

Sounds good to me...the focus of the image is on a still item, not anything moving..and if the plants aren't out for an evening walk i'd say you're okay.
