Has anyone picked this up and if so 1. was it worth the money, have you actually learned and applied techniques you have learned and.. 2. there are three free models and you choose? Thanks, Marque

I wish someone would reply, I'd like to know this too, as I've just upgraded to Poser5 & would like something comprehensive. This looked good, but for that price I'd like some opinions as well. Hope someone responds soon.

I have that video! It's BRILLIANT! It taught me about things in Poser 5 in an hour that I couldn't make head or tails of by myself in a YEAR!

You don't get a recommendation much better than that. :)

Any fellow Aussies out there ..... ? I noticed that there are two available VHS formats for the video - PAL and NTSC. Does anyone know which is the format that is used in Australia ?

ynsaen ( ) posted Mon, 22 March 2004 at 6:06 PM

PAL

thou and I, my friend, can, in the most flunkey world, make, each of us, one non-flunkey, one hero, if we like: that will be two heroes to begin with. (Carlyle)

And here in the states? Thanks, Marque

NTSC

Actually my only gripe is that it's a VHS and not a dvd.. I mean... I have a dvd player right in my computer, but my tv (and VCR) is placed where I can see the computer (with a little effort) but there's no way I can see the video and tv from my computer. And there are so many neat things you will want to try out right away :o) But... I guess if it WAS a dvd it would be ripped and placed at Kazaa in a couple of hours :o/ Oh btw there's a neat mini-cd included with everything used in the tutorials :o)

So you have learned a lot from it? Sorry to keep asking but I have bought stuff like this before only to be disappointed. My budget has shrunk since we bought the bikes, now the husbee wants chrome so it's cutting into my mad money..lol Thanks, Marque

erynoka - I think that the reason they did that is cause everyone has a VCR but not every one has a DVD. I wouls perfeer CD's though cause every one that is going to be using this for sure has a cd player on their comouter.

3-Axis has stated in another thread that if there was sufficient interest a DVD version would be made available. You may want to email 3-Axis to indicate your interest. I am already on the list.

I have learned a lot from it, yes. I finally learned HOW to use the Hair room, something I've tried to get a grasp on for a long time. Then I saw the video and the famous "lightbulb" went off above my head. It's actually EASY to make good hair... I just never knew how :o)
