This is a swimsuit that I begain working on this morning and I just thought I would cover its developement in forum. Here is what I have done so far. The first picture shows the swimsuit that I am modeling and the pictures below show how its comming so far. thank you marty

Man! I wonder how many hundreds of dollars that suit costs. So far looking pretty good, but not sure if you noticed it or not, the bikini area (besides missing the obvious) is a little thinner than what you have modeled.

Wow, I know I must have friends when so many respond so fast. Yes the crotch has not been modeled yet and I will probably make it a little more narrow. Yes Caly, exactly what I was thinking, her body looks like it was made for this suit. marty

Nice! A comment: I've seen many an attempt at Poser suits of this kind, and all have had the same problem - the straps bend along the body rather than being elastic, 'tight' and straight through the air. So they look like they're loose and the thing will fall off any minute. Same applies to almost all the garter straps I've seen so far, including those in the MP. Your straps at the top of the butt and behind each breast have this problem. You need to change that to make it realistic. :] Fish

I am compensating to make the strings more stretchy in the second prototype. In the first prototype, I hadn't really started. I am currently adjusting the tightness and the flow of the strings on this second prototype. I am going to rebuild it one more time. The next one will be a little better yet with the bows or ties in the back of the bikini top. Since you menation it GigaRoc, LOL. I side effect of setting up different mat zones for the strings and fabrics, you can make it crochless if you wish, but when you see how much detail there is in this crotch, you might like it just the way it is. marty

Ditto on Fishnose comment, for the butt strings. If I may suggest something, I'd add a few knots to the strings, and a few "open" morphs to the swimsuit, if you see what I mean... ;D

Yeah... we need more stringy-type clothes that actually work like strings... not body suits. If you can accomplish that, you da man!

On thing is for sure : this kind of clothes will ease the texturer's work... ;)

Okay, here is the layout pretty much done, I still have to make the ties in the back.

Okay, finished the knots and bows. I copied these bows from an actual image.

The ties look great. :)

Now its in the grouping and fitting phase!

Here is the bikini now. It is now grouped perfectly and it conforms and fits extremely well. It is uvmapped now also and I have made one texture for it so far. marty

WOW! This is definatly what the anime doll ordered! I think you should create a tiger texture for them aswell. Then they would fit well with the cat ears and tail from the catsuit.
