Does anyone know if there is a keyboard shortcut to rotate in an axis. I am rotating a lot of objects (tweeking the view) and I wondered if I could be using the keyboard.:) I have misplaced my short cut card that came w/ Bryce 5. Anyone? All replies gratefully acknowledged. Mike

Perry, To rotate from the window itself, place the cursor over the axis you wish to rotate on, Hold the CTRL & LMB and drag the mouse in the direction you wish to rotate. Hope this answers your question.

It is ! And thank you, Many times an object gets rotated and skewed, so that in my haste I don't check the axis before I rotate. Makes for a lot of undos. This is more direct and intuitive. Thanks again! :)) Mike

Hold CTRL and Lord Mentok the Barbarian? the Liquid Metal Biopack? The Longitudinal Morph Box? The Ludicrous Mental Bizzarities? Oh, wait... that's what this is. The Last Male Brontosaurus? The Lost Map of Birphanides? See? It's hard to tell what people mean sometimes when you have all these things right at hand on your desk... or near your desk i should say. The LMB won't fit in here so i had to put it in the next room.

Thanks again both Kimpe and Peggy! I like to think of myself as a somewhat accomplished brycer, however I have always used the interactive interface. I never learned keyboard manipulation. So, Peggy your shortcut post is a big help. Since I type slowly and never learned chat shorthand, the LMB did throw me, but a little experimentation helped me figure it out. AND the derivations offered for LMB did make me Laugh and laugh. AT the last hour mark, when I tried to post this response the first time, Renderosity Blew up. Something about MY SQL SERVER. Called me a visitor and nothing worked. How about you all.

By the look of my empty post it blew up for me too. Glad to be of some help. ;)
