Subject: Cracked Glass

Chris C ( ) posted Thu, 01 April 2004 at 9:41 AM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 7:49 PM

I want to re-create the "cracked glass" finish look that seems to be popular today. Any suggestions from the group on the best way to accomplish this (transmap, procedural, etc.)? Thanks.

I'm sure that there is a better way to do this, but here's one possibility. Mark

Mark good tip You can replace the cellular with marble to get the result you probably want. You would want to play with marble insensity scaler to get some fewer cracks shown.

Thanks all. That gets me on the right track.

What makes it a cheat?
