I don't know if anybody can help me, but i have problems with my poser 5. A few weeks ago the tools "Parameter Dials" don't show up. I have unistall and install the Poser more than 8 times and nothing happened. The Parameter Dials shows in Windows, but don't appears anywhere. Thank You....

Mt first guess would be to try changing to a larger screen resolution.

I would think that the dials are there, just off the viewable screen. So using a higher resolution as PhilC suggests would help you find it. You can move them back into a viewable area and resize your screen, or, you might want to go to Edit-Preferences, and set to Factory State and see if that does it for you.

I try resize the screen, and edit preference and nothing. I search in all the corners and NOTHING! Im very sad.

try double clicking on something. That will bring might open the small window (just a different tab)....it took me a little while to get used to that.. eric

Another thing you might try... No guarantee, but this sometimes helps with similar problems. Type po2 which will turn Poser into a more native Windows-style interface. Use the menu choice to turn on parameter dials. Move the dials into the middle of the screen. Now type po3 which will put back the usual Poser interface.

I've had P5 for a couple of weeks now. I run it on a G5 Mac with dual monitors and have been frustrated by the automatic relocation of the parameters window to be partially visible on the primary monitor every time I enter and exit the material room. I normally have the parameter window located completely on the second monitor. The relocation looks like an improperly implemented attempt to get around the problem of a completely inacessible off-screen window by moving it back into the viewport. I had run into that problem in P4 when one of my monitors was temporarily disconnected.

I already solve the problem. I need it to add the (upgrade)Poser5SR-4. What happend was that i was trying to add it a long time ago, but it was saying that it was invalid the zip. But today a friend downloaded and gave it to me. And that's the way i instaled it. Thank's everybody for the help!!!

This may be a silly question, but what happens if you in the Window menu chose "Parameter dial"?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
