Haven't seen a thread for this so.........BAT labs have an open chain bikini for V3. Looks great.

All I get is this.

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /limited/limited.htm on this server.

Jackson ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 1:03 PM

Disabling your firewall should let you in.

Aeneas ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 2:16 PM

copy the link adress, open a new page in your browser, paste and off you go. This usually does the job.

I have tried prudent planning long enough. From now I'll be mad. (Rumi)

Roy G ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 2:35 PM

Thanks, that did the trick.

artbyphil ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 4:13 PM

hi for me it comes up with a rena face morph, can't see a chain bikini.

You should see what is in the image after clicking on Limited - then clicking on the pic of the bikini itself takes you to another page where you can download it.

pigfish9 ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 4:32 PM

The download link is in the very bottom right-hand side of the page. Look for the the .zip file.

Farside ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 7:43 PM

I tried turning off my firewall, opening new browsers, copying the link address... nothing. His site is really fucked up :(

Farside ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 7:51 PM

ok, turning off ALL anti-virus software lets you see his site and download the items. The site is even worse than I thought, NO SITE should ever force you to turn off all security features to access it. I'd advise everyone to double check any BatLab item for viruses before using it just to be on the safe side.

mondoxjake ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 7:53 PM

Sometime ago when he started doing the limited thing he required a sign in-password....I had to get mine reset 5 times in less than a year so just gave up. That is not why I jumped in here though. On the page with the free Reina face file is an animation that is worth looking at. Nice smooth movement even at full screen, but is rather a large file.

Butch ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 8:09 PM

tried everything and all i get is the forbidden message....

EricofSD ( ) posted Tue, 06 April 2004 at 11:29 PM

The animation was pretty kewl.

xoconostle ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 12:11 AM

I use ZoneAlarm and the default WindowsXP firewall as well as Norton A/V and had no problem downloading the .zip file, not sure why others are having trouble. I always run a virus check on downloads ... this file is clean of viruses. BAT has never been known to host infected files.

mondoxjake ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 12:23 AM

I am still getting the Login with Password dialog box on 2 different browsers...Question to the people who are having no problems getting the files: Are you registered at the site, and do you get these Login requests? I have heard on other sites also of folks having problems. I don't have XP or a working firewall so know it isn't that. Since Bat has his store here at RO I wish he would just put his stuff on freebie board here on a limited basis with a direct link.

droyd ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 12:27 AM

helpful hint, after you click on the picture and get to the link page for the zip do not right click "save target as". I did that and it didn't work. Do left click or double click and it will open up a dialog box for downloading like renderosity freebies do.

droyd ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 12:32 AM

ps, not a bat lab member, didn't disable any virus or firewall settings. I'm running 98SE on my main web connected computer with IE 6. smooth and easy download with my hints form #18, hope this helps.

BatLabs does Not 'require' anyone to turn off firewalls or antivirus, All of BatLabs files are clean and safe, always have been. BatLabs does not run any tricks or gimiks on his pages, just good clean, cool modles offered with great generosity ;p For those of you having issues just do this: 1) go to his Front page - http://bat.server.ne.jp/ 2) click the picture 3) Do **NOT** click this picture on 2nd page!! Instead only click the little word at the top that says "Limited" 4) On the Limited page scroll down to the Bottom of page and you will find the link. note: clicking the picture of the girl will take you to a different page that only has the Face file for V3, a preview of his new character to come to market. I run Anti-virus and Two firewalls and have no trouble accessing any of his pages either with IE6 nor FireFox browsers....No, there is no longer any form of 'membership' to gain access either.

Roy G ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 2:44 AM

Sorry Igohigh, but that did not work for me. Turning off my Norton firewall was the only way I could get the file. Maybe Norton thinks it's a Pop-Up or something? I wouldn't normally turn off the firwall, but Bat Lab has been around a long time, and I really like the stuff.

Engel47 ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 3:59 AM

Gee, Engel47 Thanks for the link and the information!! You are welcome I am sure.

Phantast ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 5:06 AM

Great, thanks for the alert. It's nice he's still doing some free items from time to time.

jonfe ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 5:14 AM

Thank you Engel47 for the heads up :) and THANK YOU BAT for another excellent freebie :) Jon

Butch ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 6:23 AM

Hey I got it! Turned Norton's off completely and it worked. Wonder why it didn't download before.

LonCray ( ) posted Wed, 07 April 2004 at 9:34 AM

I followed Igo's instructions and had no problems - firewall and all. I wonder if something else is causing a problem for some folks? It does look like a very nice bikini.

mondoxjake ( ) posted Sat, 10 April 2004 at 2:12 PM

I finally got it. I use Netscape7 not IE, so I switched over to my secondary browser, NeoPlanet and had no problem.

Engel47 ( ) posted Sat, 10 April 2004 at 2:59 PM

Well done mondoxjake - Glad you perservered, It's a nice bikini ;-)
