Yeah, to be sure you need 5.1 Are you exporting out of Poser as an .obj? (that's the norm) You can try exporting out as .3ds, to create a smaller file, but you will need to smooth it back out when you get it into Bryce (smooth it at 46 degrees, that's a good starting point) Been a long time since you dfraged your pc? Can't be a factor of your ram, I've used Bryce and imported a Poser figure back when I only 32mb of ram (took a few minutes...lol) AS

If it's a download, the problem could be individual subparts with names longer than 32 characters (dunno why, but some people do that). Bryce chokes on those every time and spits them out.

Are you using Poser 4 or ProPack? If so, try running it through Grouper. Poser 4/PPP has a bug which often exports .OBJ's with .IND in the normals data where it's supposed to be a numeric - Byrce can't parse it and kicks out a generic out of mem error. This seems to be fixed in Poser5. Grouper also makes loading figures into Bryce much easier! HTH; Dan

Yes the update is already installed, yes its an .obj yes its poser4 pro , It also crashes when i export 3ds out of poser and import to bryce,Havent tried grouper tho...dont thinks its a defrag problem....the "metal fixer" takes out the .ind so i think grouper will have the same result.Well thanks for the help
