It's not for sale yet that I've read...there are posts about her if you'll do a search. Also there are posts about it and from Kim too over at the DAZ forum.

I think he was using Maya.

I'm not a big toon fan, but I have looked in the GIRL forum at DAZ out of curiosity. You should find all the info you need there. As far as I can gather, she won't be out for a while though. DAZ plan to have a lot of supporting products for her to avoid any problems about nekkid toons with no clothes to wear. mac

He modelled her in LW, but rendered her in MAX. It says so in Kim's interview.

"I'm not a big toon fan" I'm with you and am somewhat surprised about all the excitement over the character. It looks good, but it's not so much vastly better than some of the current toon characters to generate the level of excitement I'm seeing. It would be more understandable if this was the first female toon, but it's coming late to the game. This isn't a toon versus realism argument. Everybody has their own tastes. What's unusual is the degree of buzz over it--which seems to be more anticipated than any other Poser item that I can think of.

It's only buzz because he said that he would never release it, for any price. His and his alone. So... everybody slobbered over it. It was special only becuase it was unique. Not because it was new or original (how many years ago was Roger Rabbit... and that was parody of the genre?). Unique. I expect that after people get it, and realize that everybody else and his goldfish has it too, that it won't be nearly so special after all. Just another toon. Carolly

Yeah, Carolly, but... WHAT A TOON

"The GIRL" is a great piece of work. I admired the beauty and quality the first time I saw her. I think it is "special" because it's an amazing product. If it was "just unique" and looked like crap, do you think it would raise any interest? I'm not putting down any other toons, (we all have our favorites), "The GIRL", is just mine. :O)

The GIRL is the original Toon. Sara, Alexa, etc. all came out after she was discovered on CG channel.
