Hello all! I've just upgraded to Poser 5, and Michael & Victoria 3. These injection morphs and "REM" morphs have me very confused. I've read the manual, and can't find anything about them. I've tried to load the "Expression Morph" set to Michael 3, and found that I was asked to point to the file for ever eyebrow twitch and nose wiggle for the next hour or so ( and other than guess that they were all a part of the pose set I had no idea where they were), and at the end of it my "wait" cursor just kept spinning for another hour until I figured out that I was looking at a crash. How am I supposed to use these? What do I have to do to use them without crashing my computer? I assume that they are what I need to change the muscle, body, and face shapes of Michael 3 and Victoria 3, right? Help?? Please?

INJ and REM files are a means developed by DAZ - not by Curious Labs - to allow an astonishing range of morphs while keeping the file size (in most cases) to something workable. They do work in Poser 5; however, it has been noticed that they only work properly if the figure and INJ/REM files are installed in the same Runtime as Poser 5's directory - that is, the "default" RUntime that Poser creates. From the sound of things, this may be your problem, since it's having trouble finding the files.

You also need to make sure you have all the figure updates from the DAz3d site.

You can install the figures where you like, but you need to copy the !DAZ folder that sits in the RuntimeLibraries folder into your default Runtime (to make C:Program FilesPoser 5RuntimeLibraries!DAZ). You will need to do this after installing any updates for the figures or morph packs, or any new morph packs (but not characters that have an INJ/REM pose for setting the body or face - it's only when you add something that changes or adds to the basic set of mophs available).

Thank you everyone! I would never have figured that out on my own!
