I just wanted to say I'm sorry to hear about your poor kitty. I'm kind of a cat person myself. If it is the end for her, I hope she is peaceful and happy.

Ah, John, I'm sorry about kitty. :( I know how long you've had her and I know how it's going to feel. I lost one of mine several months ago after having her for 20 years. I still miss the little critter.

So sorry to hear about your cat, doesn't sound good her tripping over a bowl, I wish her a quiet and peaceful journey to the stars.... Nope, I don't think the texture is mine, but then again I have created over 2500 texures, so maybe....? or not... Thanks for the plug though....=)

In regards to the blind old kitty (I have one like that): Being blind isn't necessarily a reason to put a cat down. Provided that the ability to cope is there and she still manages to get to the food, water, litterbox, and cozy areas just fine. My cat's old, blind (went blind last winter), and just takes things nice and slow. It took a while for her to adjust while bumping into things, etc., but seems to have a mental map worked out now. I'm not sure if she has 2 months left or 2 years, but she still has her personality and the will to live.

the vet said she is partially blind. i over-reacted a bit. we have this pheremone spray thingy help her find stuff. the vet reckons it was either a stroke or its a brain tumour. if it was a stroke then she may well recover some sight. if its a brain tumour she will get worse. apparently she is remarkable well for her age. bit thin and a slight heart murmur but the vet was surprised how health she is.
