dh original told me that you can only vote once a day on any image in the gallery - Is this so or can you vote numerous times on different pieces or once every 7 days? lol, the '(How does the Hot 20 work?)' is not very clear on voting terms - is there somewhere else that has this written down?

You can vote on any picture whenever you like within any time period, but you can only vote once for any particular image. If you vote twice for a single picture, that second vote doesn't count. The Hot20 shows the most voted on for the last 7 days.
